Toronto, Ontario – May 30, 2025 – Hybrid Power Solutions Inc. (CSE: HPSS) (OTC: HPSIF) (FSE: E092) (“Hybrid” or the “Company”) announces a new partnership with Civic Grid to supply advanced battery technology for a groundbreaking urban infrastructure project. This first-of-its-kind solution reimagines energy infrastructure as civic architecture, tailored to the spatial, cultural, and technical constraints of urban environments. The project will provide energy for The Nourish and Develop Foundation, an organization focused on community food systems and food security in the regional municipality of Durham, Ontario.
Civic Grid’s visionary product makes clean energy infrastructure feel like an elegant part of the urban fabric. Powered by Hybrid’s cutting-edge battery technology, this initiative delivers reliable, emission-free energy, strengthens grid resilience and provides public energy amenities to the local community.
“We are excited to partner with Civic Grid on this transformative project that redefines how energy infrastructure can enhance urban spaces,” said Francois Byrne, CEO of Hybrid Power Solutions. “An amalgamation of art and batteries helps promote the industry as a whole strengthening public support for clean technology.”
“We’re proud to partner with Hybrid Power Solutions to launch this prototype, a signal of what’s possible in cities. This is the first step in a much larger ambition: to put a battery on every block by turning energy infrastructure into both a public asset and a public amenity,” states Max Fine, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Civic Grid. “This pilot shows how community-focused design enables the seamless integration of energy storage into public space, helping address how we build a more resilient and decentralized grid in dense cities. Hybrid understood this vision from the start and delivered the technology to make it possible. I look forward to continuing our work together.”
This partnership highlights Hybrid Power Solutions’ expertise in delivering portable, sustainable, and visually appealing energy systems for innovative applications. By integrating Civic Grid’s progressive urban design with Hybrid’s reliable battery technology, the collaboration establishes a new benchmark for urban energy infrastructure.
