HPS holds U.S. Patent No. 11,870,288 for an intelligent battery system that coordinates multiple batteries with a load. In September 2026 it filed a patent application for an AI-powered energy management system, and its Solar Tarp portable solar product is patent pending.
A hybrid power system combines battery energy storage with another power source, such as a generator, solar panels, or the grid. The battery powers the equipment and the other source recharges it or supports peak demand. Depending on the application, this can reduce how long a fuel generator needs to run.
The HPS product range includes the Batt Pack Energy, Batt Pack Pro, and Batt Pack Jupiter portable power packs, the Spark mobile battery generator, and the TERRA high-output power system. Current models and specifications are on the HPS product website.
