Hybrid Power Solutions supplies silent, fuel-free Batt Pack power for drones, communications and mobile defence systems. Orders now span U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps programs and a European defence customer, sold through defence distributors in the United States and Canada.
The opportunity
Canada reached NATO’s 2% of GDP defence spending benchmark in fiscal 2025–26, investing more than $63 billion, according to National Defence. At the 2025 Hague summit, NATO allies committed to 5% of GDP by 2035, including up to 1.5% for areas such as civil resilience, innovation and the defence industrial base, as set out by NATO.
Field operations increasingly run on drones, sensors and communications equipment, and all of it needs dependable power. Battery power runs silently, gives off less heat than a generator and reduces how much fuel has to be moved to the field. That is the job HPS products are built for.
Government and NATO spending figures are market context only. They are not a forecast of HPS orders or revenue.
Pipeline figures are from the fiscal 2026 results release (as at September 22, 2026) and include quoted opportunities that are not firm orders and may not convert to revenue in the amounts or on the timing expected.

Battery power is silent, gives off less heat than a running generator and needs no fuel at the point of use. That suits drones, communications, surveillance and other field equipment where noise, heat and fuel resupply are a problem. A hybrid system can also let a generator run less often, only to recharge the batteries.
As at September 22, 2026, defence opportunities made up about C$1.7 million, or 9%, of the approximately C$19.3 million sales pipeline reported in the fiscal 2026 results. Pipeline figures include quoted opportunities that are not firm orders.
